British cartoonist and architect, Harold Frank Hoar
was born in India. He was an accomplished draughtsman,
working mainly in black and white. He drew political
cartoons for the Sunday Telegraph and was a regular
contributor to Punch, The Builder and other publications.
He was also a town planning consultant.
Unsigned original, in pen and Indian Ink and zippertone
on Bristol board.
